Ah, food… our favorite subject! As the original owners of the Morning Glory Restaurant and Bakery, we love preparing good food. And here in Maine we have delicious inspiration. Artisanal cheeses, yogurts, local maple syrup, organic sausages and salami provide a taste of Maine. Each season brings its own flavors: local strawberries and fresh rhubarb for spring; summer’s aromatic herbs, Maine blueberries and garden-ripened tomatoes; mahogany garlic and apple cider usher in the fall. Breakfast is included in your room rate.

Breakfast features our own organic eggs, Fair Trade organic Maine roasted coffee, and handmade pastries. Head down to our dining room and sun-lit porch to see the morning’s delectable choices. Every day you can choose from our menu of create-your-own omelettes, Maine blueberry pancakes with Happytown Farm bacon and warm maple syrup, our housemade coconut granola, organic hot cereals, and scratch-baked coffeecake, scones, muffins, and Ralph’s famous bagels.

Or, try one of each day’s special offerings—sweet or savory, according to your taste.
